Formed in Cardiff South Wales, UK in 2023, Fenix is a five piece, trans fronted, anthemic rock band.
With a number of shows including multiple headlines under their belts, they are already building quite a following on the local music scene in South Wales.
Their debut EP ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ was released in July 2023 followed by their first music video for the title track ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ released at the end of 2023.
The second EP ‘Where we Belong’ launched on September 7th 2024 and is already causing a buzz.
Their music has hints of classic rock, 90s stadium rock and grunge with a little bit of metal mixed in for good measure. Their tracks are true sing-along songs with melodic choruses and plenty of air guitar moments.
Fenix will have you head-banging and screaming along so much that both your neck and throat will ache after being at one of their shows.
Zoey – Lead Vocals – She/Her
Zoey has fronted bands for years and also recorded her own solo projects. After time out from her previous band, she began putting Fenix together to satisfy her need for full on rock music.
Frances – Lead Guitar – She/Her
With years of touring experience with theatre, solo projects and bands, Frances brings an original flair to Fenix and will leave you in awe of her ability. She loves nothing more than creating and performing music and takes on new projects whenever she can fit them in her ever-busy calendar.
Roma – Bass Guitar – She/Her
Roma is the baby of the band, but don’t let her youth fool you! She can rock that bass like no other and quite often joins in with backing vocals too. She has her own solo projects on the go and also plays for other bands from time to time.
Tim – Guitar – He/Him
Tim loves nothing more than riffing out some meaty tunes. He’s had experience of fronting bands too so isn’t shy when it comes to rocking out on stage.
